I'm very pleased with the sole plates. They are so large that it's impossible to miss the rail. I have really wide feet, however, and even though I wear size 13 of these my toe knuckles are SMOOSHED. Every time I stick a gap I can feel the impact of the landing all in my big toe knuckle. It feels terrible. I'm going to try out some different liners than the standard Bailey's and see if that will solve my problem. Apart from that. This is one truely sick skate.

i have them and they are beautliful those are skates for people with experience cuz the material can brake easly if you cant fit in the rail but the weight are the less problem...the soulplates are great and those gave me some style..i can say that are really good,buy it NOW!!!

I love how they feel on your feet. the only thing that I don't like is the liners. they hurt your feet so I would suggest that you get some new liners. I may have just not broken mine in yet but thats what I think. they are also alittle on the heavy side, but overall a great skate, thanks eric bailey!

Great skate, go a size up because its narrow though. Roller warehouse hooked me up with some awesome able frames. skate looks great, and rides even better. only problem is that is heavy. i figure its not a big enough deal to tarnish the skate so i gave it a five star. BUY, cannot get a better deal for the price!

very good skates!!! The rumors are true about these being heavy, but the royale plates are perfect and the souls are great too. They hardly stick at all! I hated the stock liners with a passion as they gave my feet blisters, but I threw in some sifkia's and they're incredible!!! I think they're a little overpriced though...

i got these in black after skating trs all my life, and these are a breath of fresh air, souls are huge, royal/ farv groove needs a bit of dry ledge breaking in but after that... perfect. yes heavy but get some featherlights and it equals out, im about to get some jug vents, all i can say is you will be happy with this skate, bailey is beast and so is the entire valo team, i would say the best

First of all I must say that these skates are real sexy. white leather! How better can it get. Astetics aside, lets talk about the feel and performance of the skate. Side to side flex is very good. Topsides are a dream. Front and back flex is also very good because of the low boot profile. Talking about all this flex there is still plenty support with the cuff strap. Now some people have had complaints about the hard plastic tongue from the liners being uncomfortable, well in my experience, it all depends how tight you set your top strap. The liners themself are pretty comfortable though. They are not huge and thick, but still offer lots of padding for a comfortable ride. rolling a few hours in these and my feet are just fine with no blisters or pain. Now one thing I do find a little strange about these boots is the souls. As compared to some USD's and Downtown2's, I don't find the soul plates to slide that great. Sure they're fine on a nicely waxed metal ledge but other typical objects they seem to stick. Maybe I just need to work them in some.
To wrap this review up, I give a 4.5 star rating. These skates are very comfortable and very easy to skate in but the souls lost 0.5 star for being strange.
One note of caution, is myself being a size 9, I ordered size 9 boots and they are snug. It seems to be because the boot is a little narrow. for me this is not such a bad thing because the skates feel tightly wrapped around your feet giving extra support and response.

These skates rock, they are comfy, the memory buckle is awesome, and the plates are great if you get ground controls. BOTTOM LINE, if you want a skate with nice flex, and a great liner, get the erik baileys.

Yeah well they are the sexiest and most erotic skates in the world. The soul is HUUUGE! But the skate is heavy as hell. If u like to jump i prefer taking a bit lighter skate. U better take the GC Double Injected frame. Sick, Dope, and SEXY, SEXY, SEXY, AND ONE MORE TIME S-E-X-Y!!!!!!!!!

Arent any shock absorbers, any big gap or high ledge, landing tends to hurt. The boot is fairly heavy, coupled with a heavy frame and they weigh 10+ pounds total. The souls are incredibly wide, but they stick. Not a bad skate, but not the best.
