by: Doug		 I took a 15-year break from riding, and when I got back into it I didn't know any of the top skaters by name. On a whim I chose this DVD. I chose well. First, there is a few hours of material here. Two of the other DVDs I bought (Hoedown 9 and 10) have barely an hour. Second, the progression of Alex's skating is mesmerizing to watch. From lanky youth ripper to extremely polished and powerful twenty-something terror. Third, there are no silly non-skating antics thrown in, and no commentary or inane interviews to dilute the skating. Just a unobtrusive but suitable soundtrack, and trick after trick after trick... If anybody knows of a DVD this good (and this long) that focuses more on vert skating instead of street, I'd love to hear about it! BUY THIS DVD. Money well spent.
